Women's Month, Women's Strength
Women’s Month is a meaningful month
to celebrate. It is a moment where we all recognize the achievements, hard work,
and contributions of all women to society. We honor them and show gratitude for
difference they make in our communities. All the things that they accomplished,
proves that women are strong, that women are not just women. They are individuals
who wished nothing but to be treated equally.
The theme “WE for Gender Equality
and an Inclusive Society” aims for gender equality. It shows that everyone, men
and women, can do anything in different aspects. Even if it’s called “Women’s
Month,” it doesn’t mean it’s just all about women—it’s about promoting equality.
This month encourages us to be fair and supportive to everyone, leading to a stronger
community with less judgement —or better yet, none at all. It teaches us to be
better, to respect, and accept everyone.
I think it is time for us to open our eyes and realize that not everyone is the same. We each have our own personality and we are not in someone else’s shoes to decide what is right for them. We should let everyone to express themselves, and be the person they want to be, not the one that society expects them to be.
