Insights of My 3rd Quarter Journey
This third quarter, we learned a lot about coding and Community-Based Research (CBR) by making our own website and conducting a study regarding a specific topic. Community-Based Research allowed us to have a wider knowledge about the background of various communities around Vigan City. It might be very exhausting to go around a certain place to gather information, but at least you get to see the result of your hard work in the end.
But one of the main challenges that I have encountered during this quarter is making the webpage design. It is hard for someone like me who is not an expert and doesn’t have enough knowledge about HTML and CSS coding. Luckily, we have a teammate who knows how to do things like this, but I know that it will be hard for him to do it alone, so we really need to learn it even if it takes time to master the proper way of using tags and finally make our output perfect.
Despite these challenges, I still tried my best to learn about coding in order to have a good result. I searched for tutorials and sought help from those who know something about coding. It is not that easy to learn and memorize all of the tags in a short period of time, but because of my dedication to helping my teammates, I was encouraged to keep going.
Moving on, I will allow myself to have deeper knowledge about the lessons we discussed this quarter and always try to improve. I will always find a reason to stay motivated to learn and be more responsible than before if it’s for my well-being.
Thank you for sharing your experiences. Good luck on the next quarter !!!
